Walk to End Alzheimer's

This year the Huntsville/Decatur MSU Alumni Chapter decided to participate in an new charity event. The new charity event is the Walk to End Alzheimer's. It is taking place on October 1st. We have created an MSU Alumni team, and we are looking participates. MSU - LSU Game Watching Party

I've had multiple requests for a game watching event for tomorrow so I set one up. I will not be in town so please take it upon yourselves to make sure they get the TVs set to ESPNU, turn up the volume, etc. There is a private room.

Starts at 5:30pm, kickoff is at 6pm.

MSU/Auburn Viewing Party

For those of you staying in town this weekend, Amy Winberry has volunteered to set up a viewing party for the Mississippi State / Auburn game on Saturday! She has a private room reserved at West End Grill (6610 Old Madison Pike NW # 108, Huntsville, AL).
Restaurant opens at 11am and kickoff is at 11:21am. It should be a GREAT game so please come out and support your Dawgs!!!

For those of you not attending the MSU vs Memphis football game this Thursday in person, the Huntsville/Decatur MSU Alumni Chapter will be viewing the game at Buffalo Wild Wings in SE Huntsville – it’s in the Target shopping complex a few doors down from Five Guys Burgers. Address is 2750 Carl T. Jones Drive SE, Huntsville, AL 35802-4913. Phone is 256-650-4115. Game time is 7 pm – seating begins at 6:30.

Send-off Party for incoming MSU freshmen

As has been our tradition for the past several years, we will once again be hosting a Send-off Party for all incoming freshmen from our area that will be attending Mississippi State in the fall. This event has grown over the years (last year we had over 235 attendees) and is a fun way for alumni and their families to gather and give the incoming freshmen of our area a rousing start to their MSU experience. This note serves as an invitation to this year’s event.

Gator Bowl FAQ

Here is a list of some useful details for those going to the Gator Bowl:

1. Cowbells WILL be allowed into the stadium. The official answer for when to ring is "any time you want to" but they later said it'd be nice to still ring responsibly. There will be no fines associated with cowbells.

2. The team will be wearing white but the fans are asked to wear MAROON
